Colleen suggested leaving your machine to soak in beauty water and it will help keep scale off of the machine. One way make this process easier is to run the beauty water for a few seconds then as you turn off the water insert the bottom hose right into the top hose. They make a nice tight fit. That will keep the water in the machine....
